Ecuadorian Ministry of Public Health presents Savor Saver

Context
For more than 40.000 patients going through Chemotherapy treatments, food doesn't taste like food. This type of medical treatment makes patients lose their appetite because it creates a metal flavor in their mouths, making it more difficult for patients get the nutrients they need in order to get stronger and fight cancer.

Solution
The Ecuadorian Ministry of Public Health, created sugar-free candies made of a wild berry that grows in the coastal region of Ecuador, which has the property of regenerating taste buds allowing patients to taste the real flavors of food for up to 60 minutes.
